ABC Nannies would not exist without our enthusiastic, adventurous, forward thinking founder, Ginger Swift. In 1994, after working through college as a nanny (BS in Psychology) and a successful stint in sales, Ginger turned her talents to helping nannies find caring, professional positions with Colorado families.
Over the years ABC has grown from a one-woman business to the largest nanny and household staffing agency in Colorado. While growing the business, Ginger relied on the support of several experienced ABC nannies to care for her adorable kiddos. She currently spearheads ABC’s Newborn Care Division; supporting parents and hand-picking the ideal person to care for their baby is her passion!
In her spare time, when not with her family, she gives back to the industry as an active member of the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies and the International Nanny Association.
Dynamic and passionate about helping others, innovative and adept at fostering relationships, honest and someone who truly understands both sides of this business: Jami was a nanny for several years after college (BA and MA from CU…go Buffs!) and successfully employed three nannies/family assistants to care for her own children.
Since joining ABC in early 2004, ABC has continued to grow and thrive under her direction. Together, with Ginger, they launched ABC’s temporary service: Jovie of Denver+ in 2017. Jami leads her businesses with the core values instilled in her by Midwest upbringing in eastern Colorado: integrity, hard work, and kindness.
Jami enjoys spending time with her family and mini Golden-doodle. She’s also dedicated to supporting other entrepreneurs; she’s served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies since 2009 – and is currently the President of the organization, and is an active member of EO Colorado.
With over 15+ years of customer service, recruiting and networking experience under her belt, Brittany leads our team with a positivity, a can-do attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile for her clients and candidates.
A graduate of CSU – where she received her BA in Communication Studies – Brittany began her professional career working as a technical recruiter. While recruiting was a great match for her, in 2014 she chose to put her skills to work supporting Colorado families, nannies and household staff as a leader at ABC…and she’s never looked back. In 2018, Brittany was awarded one of the industry’s top honors for her work at ABC: Colorado Staffing Association’s Staffing Employee of the Year!
When not working, Brittany loves spending time with her husband, and her two tiny fur-babies (she’s a dedicated Yorkie mom), hiking and skiing, and spending time with her vast network of friends and family here in Colorado.
Thoughtful, detail-oriented, poised, and truly invested in helping those we serve, Mary is an integral part ABC. A native of Chicago-land and one of six children, Mary worked her way through college as a nanny. After obtaining a BA in Communications, Mary worked several years as a household manager and family assistant, until finally parlaying her talents into staffing.
Mary joined our team in 2017 and proved to be a natural matchmaker. Mary is a helper at heart and spends each day supporting our clients and candidates. She has a keen understanding of what it takes to create successful long-term placements, and works hard to help other find the happiness, peace of mind, and success they deserve.
Mary loves to travel, spend time with her husband, her adorable pup, Tucker, and her spunky nephews…all with a good glass of wine in hand, of course
Cheerful and positive, detail-oriented and supportive, we knew instantly Emma was a perfect fit for the ABC team! Drawing on her BS in Communications, experience as an Outreach Coordinator for a children’s science museum, a Director – responsible for recruiting and hiring – for a Music Camp, then as a full-time nanny for 6+ years, Emma is the ideal person to guide our candidates through their job search.
She understands the ins and outs of the job, the needs of employers, and the importance of finding the perfect match. She is passionate about helping ABC candidates build successful, fulfilling long-term careers and it shows.
Upon joining ABC, Emma traded in the mountains of North Carolina for the mountains of Northern Colorado and enjoys exploring and hiking with her partner! She also loves reading, as well as playing and teaching music. Yep, our dear Emma plays the fiddle like a boss!
As our Placement Assistant, Hersh spends her supporting our active candidates and carefully recruiting experienced, professional nannies and household staff for our amazing clients. Hersh spent the early part of her career working with with start-ups and Fortune 500 companies around the globe. For 7 years she excelled in customer service, tech support and customer care, until she fell into (and in love with) recruiting. She’s spent the past several years helping execute successful recruitment strategies for businesses and joined ABC on our mission in 2023. Hershey is results-driven and passionate, and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to support our candidates, helping them find their dream job and advance their careers.
She is inspired daily by her husband and two absolutely adorable kiddos. In her free time, Hershey likes to go to the beach, organize her home and spend time with her loved ones
Meet Ashli Hagan, our dedicated Family Placement Manager, for ABC’s sister company – Jovie of Denver, Greenwood Village-Centennial, Boulder – Fort Collins. With a deep-rooted passion for connecting families with exceptional care, Ashli is your go-to for temporary and backup childcare. Her journey in this field started early, and her background speaks volumes.
Ashli holds a double degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her career ignited as a lead teacher, then Assistant Director, at CU’s Family Housing Children’s Center. And ABC was next: for nearly a decade Ashli made meaningful connections working as both a Long-term Placement Counselor and Corporate Backup Care Coordinator. Upon moving to the mid-West, Ashli took time off to raise her own children. She’s the proud mom of two successful, thriving young men, with help in part to not one, but two long-term nannies, with whom she still remains close.
We were delighted to welcome Ashli back to our team in 2023. You can trust Ashli to understand your needs and assemble a pool of reliable, experienced, and vetted babysitters for your family, your business or your event. She gets it!
Since 2016 Jess has been thoughtfully leading our growing team of temporary nannies and backup care sitters. With a calm, friendly disposition, a discerning attitude, and strong mid-West work ethic, she’s done a tremendous job making sure Colorado families have reliable childcare when they need it most.
In addition to being a mom of two successful young adults, Jess also has a background in customer service, and spent several years caring for children in an ECE setting. She’s truly understands the importance of high-quality childcare. She expects those on her team to be caring and kind, engaging and thoughtful, timely and reliable…all the qualities she exemplifies in her role as Staffing Manager.
