Located at: Boulder

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Chef needed 2 days a week preferably a Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm. They would like three fresh dinners a week along with a few lunches and dinner prep for the days the Chef is not there. They can offer 11 to 13 hours a week.

Commitment/Contract Length: The family is seeking a longterm commitment

Standard Duties:

All Chef duties including menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, meal prepping, and keeping the kitchen organized and clean.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

The Ideal chef is a culinary professional with a strong background in cooking and preferably a degree from culinary school, although practical experience professionally cooking ( in a home or restaurant) is also valued. Creativity is a key attribute, as the chef should be adept at crafting light, healthy meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients, with a particular emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine—the family's favored culinary style. Alongside culinary skills, cleanliness and organization are paramount, ensuring a hygienic and efficient kitchen environment. Additionally, proficiency in food preservation techniques and a positive, professional attitude are essential traits. The ideal candidate must be a non-smoker with a clear background check, ensuring compatibility with the family's health and safety standards.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

$35-$45/hr+

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
