Why Join APNA?

When I started ABC Nannies in 1994, I sought out to run a professional nanny agency that exemplified all of my core values: hard work, integrity and helping others with kindness and grace. I joined the International Nanny Association (INA), early on, where my staff and I learned a lot from professional nannies and agencies alike about what it meant to be a true professional brick and mortar placement agency. When I heard about the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA), I knew ABC had to join. Unlike INA, to become a member of APNA I had to prove that I was running a strong business that exceeded basic standards—without question, APNA set the bar high for potential members and only allows the best agencies in to country belong. Over the years, not only have my business partner and I made great industry friendships, we have learned from the best, we’ve gained insight on how to serve our nannies and families better, and we network constantly to provide you with the most current trends and best practices in the industry. Fifteen plus years later, I have become the President of APNA and Jami Dennis, the President of ABC, is Vice President of APNA. We work as a team for both ABC and APNA, striving for the best: always. We are proud to represent a first class organization and bring back relevant content from industry conferences to help our Denver community.
