Located at: 19th St and Upland Avenue

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday, guaranteeing 34-40 hours/week. Three days/week 11am-5pm, and 2 days/week 12pm-8pm.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-in option is available. Family is happy to provide a private, furnished studio cottage, with a kitchenette and full bathroom on their property.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: August 5th, 2024

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 4 and 2.

About the Children:

Both children are energetic and love music, dancing anf dressing up as princesses. Their oldest will be in Montessori school full-time, and their youngest will start preschool part-time in the fall.

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who is relocating. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including family laundry, grocery shopping/meal planning, meal prep & cooking for children & parents, coordinating schedules, managing vendors, organizational projects, inventory management, and light tidying up.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position, for 2 weeks at a time.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

6 years of experience with toddlers & school-age children
Ability & passion for cooking.
The ideal candidate will have a pro-active and mature approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to tackle any household task with ease.
Ideally, this candidate will bring a blend of kindness, nurturing, professionalism, and flexibility to the position. You must be dedicated to a service-oriented mindset, with great communication skills and ensuring a harmonious household environment

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$36+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $55,000 - $80,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Flu Shot required.
